A Blakelands Hospital patient has praised the hospital team for the high quality service he received for his Cataract surgery.

Noel Clancy was recommended Blakelands Hospital through his Optometrist at Vision Express in Milton Keynes after a routine eye examination. Speaking of his first impressions of the Hospital, Mr Clancy said 'everything and everyone I encountered was excellent, polite and friendly'.

Mr Clancy, a retired 75 year old living in Milton Keynes said 'From the point of entering reception, the person dealing with the patients was polite and extremely helpful. The nursing staff were superb in their professional conduct and advised me at all times of what was going on.

'I had Cataracts surgery performed on both eyes on two separate visits, and I had a follow up call from Blakelands Hospital on the Saturday, the day after my operation checking my recovery. How excellent is that!'

'My surgeon, Mr Kumar, performed both procedures. He is a polite and professional ophthalmic surgeon who kept me informed at all stages. I was amazed at being treated in such an excellent manner'.

'The surgery has improved my sight to both eyes and has improved everything 100% in my daily life. I would recommend Blakelands Hospital without hesitation and have already told friends about the excellent service I received’.
