Another happy patient at Blakelands Hospital

Jackie, a 55 year old patient from Northamptonshire tells of her delight at recently being a Blakelands Hospital patient for the second time.
‘I first heard about Blakelands Hospital when the secretary at Towcester Medical Centre recommended the hospital to me after she herself had been. On arrival I noted that the reception was very clean and the furniture was comfortable – not the normal hard hospital waiting area chairs.
All the staff I have had the pleasure to meet at Blakelands Hospital have been brilliant. They are friendly, informative, gentle and caring.
My first procedure at Blakelands hospital was the first operation I have ever had in my 55 years except a wisdom tooth extraction, which was not a good experience. Gaynor, one of the nurses was brilliant and calmed me down and talked to me throughout.’
Jackie, who is an electrical technician for auto sport and industrial industries said ’both procedures I have had at Blakelands Hospital have been under the care of Mr Toe, and have been on my hands.
My first operation resulted in much more fluid movement in my hand without pain. I have only just had my second operation on my left hand but I have every faith in Mr Toe and expect the outcome to be the same. Mr Toe is a brilliant surgeon who is pleasant and very informative. He stops to explain if you are nervous about having an operation.
For me, Blakelands Hospital is the hospital to go to. The staff take the time to explain what is going on until you are more at ease in both surgery and outpatient appointments. I would not go anywhere else and I have already been recommending Blakelands Hospital to friends and family!’
